Colours

It is important to consider colours when making a magazine as has to be eye catching but also clear and easy to read. I am planning on using a couple of colours throughout the magazine as too many colours don't show consistency or theme and colour scheme and can also make the magazine look badly organised. If colours work well together and pop it will make the reader want to pick the magazine up and read it. Colours have to be considered for fonts and backgrounds so that they can be read by all readers for example dark text on a light background or light text on a dark background. Using the colour wheel helps to identify what colours work well together as opposite colours on the colour wheel go for example, purple and yellow and orange and blue.
