Her star image is acting crazy and wearing clothing that would not be worn day to day by someone not in the public eye.
Before becoming famous and being referred to as Lady Gaga she was know by her birth name Stefani Germanotta.
She has changed her whole image and taken on a new identity in order to become successful in the music industry as being recognised by her image is part of the reason she is famous and has had success.
